Virgin PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)

PTFE (Teflon) is a fluorocarbon based polymer and typically is the most chemically resistant of all plastics, while retaining excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties. PTFE also has a low coefficient of friction so it is ideal for many low torque applications.

This material is non-contaminating and accepted by the FDA for food applications. Although the mechanical properties of PTFE is low, comparing to other engineered plastics, its properties remain useful over a wide temperature range.

Advantages:

PTFE stands for PolyTetraFluoroEthylene, which is the chemical term for the polymer (CF2)n.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a thermoplastic member of the fluoropolymer family of plastics and has a low coefficient of friction, excellent insulating properties.

PTFE is chemically inert to most substances. It also can withstand high heat applications and it is well know for its anti-stick properties.

Choosing the right seat ring material is often the most challenging decision in Ball Valve Selection. To assist our customers during this process, we are willing to offer information on customer request.

PTFE valve seats produced by US are widely used in textile, power station, petrochemical, heating and refrigeration, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, metallurgy, light industry, environmental protection, Paper Industry, Sugar Industry, Compressed Air and other fields.
Product performance: high temperature resistance, good acid and alkali resistance and oil resistance; with good rebound resilience, sturdy and durable without leaking.

Crafted from virgin PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), commonly known as Teflon, this liner stands out for its exceptional chemical resistance. PTFE, a fluorocarbon-based polymer, is renowned for its ability to withstand a broad range of chemicals, making it an ideal choice for various industrial applications where chemical exposure is a concern. Furthermore, this material exhibits excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties, ensuring the valve's performance remains uncompromised even in the most demanding environments. Our sanitary PTFE EPDM compounded butterfly valve liner is not just about exceptional material quality; it's also about precision engineering and design. Suitable for a broad range of diameters from DN50 to DN600, it ensures a perfect fit for a variety of piping and fluid control systems. The integration of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) with PTFE in the compound enhances the liner's mechanical properties, including its resilience and durability under fluctuating temperatures and pressures. This unique combination ensures that our valve seat provides a reliable, leak-proof seal, drastically reducing maintenance costs and downtime for industrial operations. The commitment to quality and innovation at Sansheng Fluorine Plastics is evident in every product, especially in our PTFE butterfly valve seat. Our dedication to advancing fluid handling technology is unwavering, as we continuously seek to provide solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability for our clients worldwide. Whether you're operating in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical, or any other industry requiring stringent control and containment of fluids, our sanitary PTFE EPDM compounded butterfly valve liner is engineered to deliver unmatched performance.
