Virgin PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)

PTFE (Teflon) is a fluorocarbon based polymer and typically is the most chemically resistant of all plastics, while retaining excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties. PTFE also has a low coefficient of friction so it is ideal for many low torque applications.

This material is non-contaminating and accepted by the FDA for food applications. Although the mechanical properties of PTFE is low, comparing to other engineered plastics, its properties remain useful over a wide temperature range.

Nitrile rubber has good self-expanding properties, abrasion resistance and hydrocarbon-resistant properties. It can be used as a general material for water, vacuum, acid, salt, alkali, grease, oil, butter, hydraulic oil, glycol, etc. Can not be used in places such as acetone, ketone, nitrate, and fluorinated hydrocarbons.
EPDM

-40℃~135℃

Instant -50℃~150℃

Ethylene-propylene rubber is a good general-purpose synthetic rubber that can be used in hot water systems, beverages, dairy products, ketones, alcohols, nitrates, and glycerin, but not in hydrocarbon-based oils, inorganics, or solvents.

Advantages:

PTFE stands for PolyTetraFluoroEthylene, which is the chemical term for the polymer (CF2)n.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a thermoplastic member of the fluoropolymer family of plastics and has a low coefficient of friction, excellent insulating properties.

PTFE is chemically inert to most substances. It also can withstand high heat applications and it is well know for its anti-stick properties.

Choosing the right seat ring material is often the most challenging decision in Ball Valve Selection. To assist our customers during this process, we are willing to offer information on customer request.

PTFE valve seats produced by US are widely used in textile, power station, petrochemical, heating and refrigeration, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, metallurgy, light industry, environmental protection, Paper Industry, Sugar Industry, Compressed Air and other fields.
Product performance: high temperature resistance, good acid and alkali resistance and oil resistance; with good rebound resilience, sturdy and durable without leaking.

Our EPDM+PTFE Butterfly Valve Seat is engineered to cater to a diverse range of diameters from DN50 to DN600, making it a versatile choice for myriad piping and fluid control scenarios. The core of our product lies in its innovative use of virgin PTFE, a fluorocarbon-based polymer renowned for its almost universal chemical resistance. This material does not react with most industrial chemicals, acids, or solvents, making our valve seats an ideal choice for applications involving corrosive fluids. Furthermore, PTFE's exceptional thermal stability and low coefficient of friction contribute to the valve's smooth operation and longevity, even under high-temperature conditions. The inclusion of EPDM complements the PTFE by adding enhanced mechanical strength and flexibility, which is crucial for ensuring a tight seal and zero leakage performance under varying pressure and temperature fluctuations. The synergy between EPDM and PTFE in our butterfly valve seats not only elevates their chemical and thermal resistance but also enhances their wear and tear resistance, significantly extending the operational lifespan of the valve assembly. Designed with precision and manufactured following the highest industry standards, the Sansheng Fluorine Plastics' EPDM+PTFE Butterfly Valve Seat stands as a testament to innovation in fluid control technology, delivering reliability, efficiency, and unmatched performance for your critical applications.
