Black/ Green PTFE/ FPM +EPDM Rubber Valve Seat for Butterfly Valve Seat
PTFE + EPDM compounded rubber valve seats produced by SML are widely used in textile, power station, petrochemical, heating and refrigeration, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, metallurgy, light industry, environmental protection and other fields.
Product performance: high temperature resistance, good acid and alkali resistance and oil resistance; with good rebound resilience, sturdy and durable without leaking.
PTFE+EPDM
The Teflon (PTFE) liner overlays EPDM which is bonded to a rigid phenolic ring on the outside seat perimeter. The PTFE extends over the seat faces and outsides flange seal diameter, completely covering the EPDM elastomer layer of the seat, which provides the resilience for sealing valve stems and the closed disc.
Temperature range: -10°C to 150°C.
Virgin PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
PTFE (Teflon) is a fluorocarbon based polymer and typically is the most chemically resistant of all plastics, while retaining excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties. PTFE also has a low coefficient of friction so it is ideal for many low torque applications.
This material is non-contaminating and accepted by the FDA for food applications. Although the mechanical properties of PTFE is low, comparing to other engineered plastics, its properties remain useful over a wide temperature range.
Temperature range: -38°C to +230°C.

At the heart of our product lies the material composition: PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) reinforced with EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer). This fusion not only augments the liner's chemical resistance against water, oil, gas, base oil, and acids but also ensures its adaptability across a broad port size range from DN50 to DN600. Whether it's for water treatment plants, oil refineries, or gas distribution networks, our Keystone PTFE Butterfly Valve Liner is designed to deliver unparalleled sealing efficiency, minimizing maintenance and prolonging the service life of the valve assembly. Our commitment to innovation is embodied in the product's design. The Wafer Type Centerline Soft Sealing Butterfly Valve and pneumatic Wafer Butterfly Valve variants showcase our dedication to versatility and reliability. Both configurations offer easy installation and maintenance, thanks to their wafer and flange ends connection. Furthermore, the lug type double half shaft butterfly valve without pin emphasizes our drive towards providing secure, leak-free operations even in the most demanding environments. Tailored to meet the needs of industries such as textile, power stations, petrochemical, heating and refrigeration, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, metallurgy, light industry, and environmental protection, our liner ensures your operations are seamless, efficient, and cost-effective. Embrace the future of industrial sealing with the Keystone PTFE Butterfly Valve Liner – where innovation meets reliability.
