Black/ Green PTFE/ FPM +EPDM Rubber Valve Seat for Butterfly Valve Seat
PTFE + EPDM compounded rubber valve seats produced by SML are widely used in textile, power station, petrochemical, heating and refrigeration, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, metallurgy, light industry, environmental protection and other fields.
Product performance: high temperature resistance, good acid and alkali resistance and oil resistance; with good rebound resilience, sturdy and durable without leaking.
PTFE+EPDM
The Teflon (PTFE) liner overlays EPDM which is bonded to a rigid phenolic ring on the outside seat perimeter. The PTFE extends over the seat faces and outsides flange seal diameter, completely covering the EPDM elastomer layer of the seat, which provides the resilience for sealing valve stems and the closed disc.
Temperature range: -10°C to 150°C.
Virgin PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
PTFE (Teflon) is a fluorocarbon based polymer and typically is the most chemically resistant of all plastics, while retaining excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties. PTFE also has a low coefficient of friction so it is ideal for many low torque applications.
This material is non-contaminating and accepted by the FDA for food applications. Although the mechanical properties of PTFE is low, comparing to other engineered plastics, its properties remain useful over a wide temperature range.
Temperature range: -38°C to +230°C.

Crafted from a robust combination of PTFE and EPDM, these sealing rings are engineered to withstand the rigors of various media including water, oil, gas, base oil, and even corrosive acids. This versatility makes our seals an ideal choice for industries spanning from textile and power stations to petrochemical, heating, refrigeration, pharmaceuticals, shipbuilding, metallurgy, light industry, and environmental protection. The material's resistance to high temperatures and chemical erosion ensures that our butterfly valve sealing rings maintain their integrity and performance over prolonged use, thus offering an unmatched sealing solution that industries can rely on. Our product portfolio includes the Wafer Type Centerline Soft Sealing Butterfly Valve and the Pneumatic Wafer Butterfly Valve, both featuring exceptional design for facile integration into various piping systems. With port sizes ranging from DN50 to DN600, these valves are tailored to meet the needs of any application demanding high temperature and chemically resistant solutions. The wafer and flange end connections, coupled with the valve's innovative design—lacking a center pin—enhance flow efficiency and reduce the risks of leakage. At Sansheng Fluorine Plastics, we are dedicated to delivering keystone butterfly control valves that offer reliability, cost-effectiveness, and superior performance, ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly and efficiently.
