Black/ Green PTFE/ FPM +EPDM Rubber Valve Seat for Butterfly Valve Seat

PTFE + EPDM compounded rubber valve seats produced by SML are widely used in textile, power station, petrochemical, heating and refrigeration, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, metallurgy, light industry, environmental protection and other fields.
Product performance: high temperature resistance, good acid and alkali resistance and oil resistance; with good rebound resilience, sturdy and durable without leaking.

PTFE+EPDM

The Teflon (PTFE) liner overlays EPDM which is bonded to a rigid phenolic ring on the outside seat perimeter. The PTFE extends over the seat faces and outsides flange seal diameter, completely covering the EPDM elastomer layer of the seat, which provides the resilience for sealing valve stems and the closed disc.

Temperature range: -10°C to 150°C.

Virgin PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)

PTFE (Teflon) is a fluorocarbon based polymer and typically is the most chemically resistant of all plastics, while retaining excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties. PTFE also has a low coefficient of friction so it is ideal for many low torque applications.

This material is non-contaminating and accepted by the FDA for food applications. Although the mechanical properties of PTFE is low, comparing to other engineered plastics, its properties remain useful over a wide temperature range.

Temperature range: -38°C to +230°C.

The Bray PTFE EPDM Butterfly Valve Liner from Sansheng is engineered to seamlessly fit wafer type centerline soft sealing butterfly valves, including pneumatic wafer butterfly valves as well as lug type double half shaft butterfly valves without pin. This versatility ensures that our liners are a perfect match for a wide range of industrial applications, from high-temperature conditions in power stations and petrochemical plants to demanding environments in pharmaceuticals, shipbuilding, and metallurgy, to name just a few. Our liners are available in sizes ranging from DN50 to DN600, accommodating a broad spectrum of port sizes and ensuring a snug, leak-proof fit for any application. What sets the Bray PTFE EPDM Butterfly Valve Liner apart is its unparalleled performance under high temperature and corrosive conditions, where traditional materials might fail. The PTFE component of the liner offers exceptional chemical resistance, ensuring that the valve remains operational even when exposed to aggressive media. Meanwhile, the EPDM segment provides the elasticity and resilience required to maintain a tight seal, effectively reducing maintenance needs and prolonging the lifespan of the valve. Designed with precision and manufactured to the highest standards, these liners are a testament to Sansheng Fluorine Plastics' commitment to quality and innovation in sealing technology.
